Section 3: IRATP - Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS)
13.3.1 Indian Railways Automatic Train Protection (IRATP) indigenously developed,
is named as Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS). TCAS is an Automatic
Train Protection System with Cab Signalling features. Both the terms are used
synonymously.
